Key features include:

• The ability to function as a switcher between the PC  graphics and an external video source, including the ability to cross-fade  between the two sources and set arbitrary mix levels.
• The ability to overlay PC graphics on top of an external  video source using the MagniCoder Pro overlay keyer.
• The ability to freeze the display buffer of the  MagniCoder Pro.
• The ability to configure the serial port connection to  the MagniCoder Pro.
• The ability to configure the video I/O format of the  MagniCoder Pro.

• Use the freeze feature to leave an informative message  on the screen while you take InfoChannel down to perform system maintenance or service.
• Use the MagniCoder Pro with overlay keyer to key PC  graphics on top of the video feed from an Optibase MPEG-2 decoder for high  quality output.

A brief tour:

The options menu allows you to configure the COM port  which the MagniCoder Pro is connected to as well as the format you will be using  to encode your output video (and use as your input source for  overlay). It also allows you to freeze the Magni output when InfoChannel exits and unfreeze it when InfoChannel starts:
